Within Life in Black Ink, this work documents Black self determination as it existed on the ground in Texas, extending the Panther legacy beyond the coasts and into the lived realities of Southern cities. The overlapping lines and layered bodies suggest movement, surveillance, and solidarity at once. History is not static here. It walks, watches, and adapts.
